Developed in-house over four years, Core allows seamless and tightly integrated trading via the standard BasePlate AWB maintaining all of the personalised reporting and management of portfolio's that clients expect.
BasePlate Core drives lower cost trading, efficiencies in reporting and complete integration with our best of practice adviser CRM Workbench. While you can still use BasePlate AWB in isolation from the Core trading platform, it is the use of these in combination that allows real efficiencies and client experience improvement to be developed.

Trading instructions are fully audited and tracked for creation, editing, and deletion. Permissioned users are able to see the audit trail against trades, including their data update and confirmation from the platform. |
Data transfers are secured through SSL encrypted FTP with source IP locked down. Communication between BasePlate AWB and Core is also via encrypted transfer. |

Data redundancy and recovery is achieved through 3 ms mirroring to an offsite server in real time, as well as full nightly backups that are then loged to a third location which takes rolling weekly snaps as well as a 6 monthly cycle. |
FAB software also runs data validation every night to ensure that the mirrored data position is accurate and maintained ongoing. |

Online hosted servers are protected from unauthorised access by a non-standard, non-root user access list that is actively monitored and any access failure more than twice results in and automatic IP ban. The data servers are physically secured by key card access at secure hosting facilities. |
As development is always ongoing, we run a full scale development server where new features and functions can be developed, tested, and signed off before promotion to live updating. Simulation includes full simulation of the BasePlate AWB client side. |
