Because of the architecture of BasePlate in that we store data locally and sync to a cloud solution you are able to use the system whether you are online or offline. So if you are flying between markets, on a sales meeting without interact connectivity or your internet goes out for any reason you can keep working and next time you become connected BasePlate will sync with the cloud server. The recent Christchurch earthquakes highlighted this key feature. Our customers where able to either keep working with clients where internet wasn't available or for some where their laptops where trapped in buildings, they purchased a new laptop, down-synced the data from the server and away they went. |
